I got into fitness during COVID. Found Mike Thurston on YouTube, ordered some gear for my shed, and just started. It became part of my routine — and when gyms reopened, I never went back to not training.
I started KS Coaching because I wanted to help people see what they're actually made of. My style is honest — you'll hear what you need to hear, not what sounds good. I take time to understand your life outside the gym too, because the same plan doesn't work for everyone. The biggest thing I see people get wrong is going too hard too soon. Crash diets, hours of cardio — they burn out before they've had a chance to see what's working. Here we build structure. A plan that actually fits your life.

I don't like to put a timeframe on this because every individual is different — some will see results faster than others. It's important to remember that this is your journey and nobody else's. Once you're committed to the process, there's no doubt you'll get a result to be proud of.
I've coached many clients with injuries and we've always worked around it — starting with understanding how bad the injury is and what mobility we're working with, then using regression exercises to build our way back up.
I'd say 12 weeks minimum. That's the timeframe where you'll see real, meaningful change.
